Salmon Lox with Cream Cheese (my favorite)!!!


I had this beautiful creation two mornings in a row at a restaurant at the Palm Springs JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa. I order this whenever I can but this was by far the best one I’ve ever had in freshness and presentation.  The Softness and Lightly Toasted Bagel really lead to the success of this and I must say I savored every last bite!

Mariposa & Dahl & DiLuca, Sedona AZ

Mussels in a Spicy Sausage Broth

The fabulous Mariposa!  This post is long overdue but I just had to get it out there because it is simply one of  the best experiences you will ever have.  This is my 3rd review and post about Mariposa and my 2nd review on Dahl & DiLuca, both in Sedona Arizona and expertly executed by the Team of Chef and Owner Lisa Dahl.  If you want to celebrate a special occasion like we did here, with Tony and Laura, celebrating Tony’s Birthday, and Valentines Day (last February), you will not be disappointed, in fact you will be craving for more! PAPPADEAUX Seafood Kitchen (Houston Texas)


Tilapia, fresh caught, Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, fresh caught, nothing like the food we had in Galveston Texas…some of the freshest Seafood we have ever had and the flavors are fabulous.  


This is the BEST Cobb Salad I have ever had!  Fresh Gulf Shrimp, Crispy Sugary Bacon, Crumbled Bleu Cheese, Fresh Avocado, Light Greens and a Light Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing.  Superb! Oh and I loved the tomatoes, like Cherubs or something close to it.  


This restaurant was in the Houston Airport.  John had been there before and said he had to take me here.  There is a wait to get in.  Only downfall is there is no A.C. but once you get your food you forget all about that. Our server RAYLEN was the happiest person we had ever met in a very long time.  She smiled from ear to ear our entire visit and was the most accommodating server we have ever had (or at least up there in the top 2).  They are lucky to have her.


…thought I’d throw in a few pictures I took of Shrimp Boats in for the night.  We went on an amazing Boat Ride while in Galveston for Kellie and Gary’s 20th Anniversary (vow renewal).  The catering on that boat was amazing too.


Loved looking at the Shrimp Boats.  The nets were so colorful…looks like Pirates (as in Argh).


Check out PAPPADEAUX Seafood Kitchen at the Houston Texas Airport! I learned there is one in Phoenix too, in the Kieran Commons area.  Can’t wait to check that one out!  Honestly never had Seafood this fresh before.  Wish I could have it now.

The Most Beautiful Dessert Ever!


Simply Spectacular!  Mamas Fish House in Maui.  One of our favorite places in all our travels!  5 Star in every way! Polynesian Black Pearl Liliko’i Chocolate Mousse. I came upon a photo from when we were there 2 years ago and couldn’t resist re- posting.

SAND BAR *New Restaurant Gilbert, AZ


5/1/19 This is the new Sand Bar in Gilbert Arizona!  It is across the street from the outdoor San Tan Valley Mall, right at that main intersection.  As soon as you see it from the road you want to drive right over to it.  The look of it from the road makes you feel like you are on vacation in the Bahamas somewhere!  I am SO excited this place has come so close to us.  It’s just SO exciting!
