I added Fresh Mint and Spearmint Leaves to the Water yesterday, and put it in the fridge over night to infuse and get cold. A Tea Strainer works nicely to catch the leaves. Lavender is also really good in water but I forgot to plant it this year. I will have to get some next time I’m out. Basil and Sage in Water is also very good and more earthy.
This is Spearmint in the front and Mint in the back
This is all Mint. It grows like a weed.
I have (from left to right) Dill, Flat Leaf (or Italian Parsley), Cilantro, Curly Parsley, Sage, Mint, Spearmint and Mint (Basil that died in the back, need to get more), 2 Types of Tomatoes, Jalapeños and Rosemary. John built this gorgeous Planter Box for me. We got individual tiles at a really neat specialty store in Phx. Now it looks like a piece of Art!
What are you planting this Spring?
