The beautiful Sandy, (just got her braces off)!! Good Bloody Mary’s.

I really liked this Bloody Mary.  I ordered it Spicy.  I liked the Spicy Salt Rim and the Jalapeño although I wasn’t daring enough to eat it raw, and of course, I had to have the traditional “Beer Chaser”.  It’s what we do in Minnesota!

This is our server, Jeanette!  She was SO awesome!  Friendly, happy and knew everything about the menu.  We really enjoyed her.

Fabulous Southwestern Caesar with Chipotle Caesar Dressing, Pepper Jack Cheese, Pico De Gallo and Crispy Tortilla Strips.  Side Salad was $6.50. This was fantastic!  It was layered with flavors, scrumptious, really. I would go back for this.

Cotija Grilled Corn – Jesse’s favorite, she gets this every time she comes. Sweet Corn rolled in Aioli and Cotija Cheese, finished with Cayene Pepper and Lime $6.95

IMG_0416Marinated Chicken Skewers served with Cabbage Slaw and Spicy BBQ Sauce $11.95.  Good flavor and very tender. I tasted the Coleslaw and really liked the Vinegar in it. It didn’t over power the cabbage but complimented it well. It was like a “pickled” taste but mild at the same time.

IMG_0408Almost forgot the complimentary Chips.  Warm, thin, just enough Salt and good Medium Spiced Salsa

These were fabulous!  Some of the best Soft Tacos I have ever had. Gosh, the flavors. Carne Asada, Grilled, Marinated Skirt Steak, Pico de Gallo, Cotija Cheese, Cabbage, Corn, Chipotle Mayo and Sour Cream.  I chose the Corn Tortillas. The flavors were excellent and there was layer upon layer of flavor. The Refried Beans  were creamy and the perfect amount of Salt and the Sweet Rice was over the top fabulous.  It tasted to me like Coconut Milk but the server said it was Honey and Cream. Honesty I wouldn’t have figured that out and I am pretty good at disecting flavors. It was excellent!  OH and you can order 1, 2 or 3 Tacos which we really liked.

Same Tacos but with Tortilla Soup.

Jesse and I having a HH drink at the bar.  “Cheers” to us!!

Excellent!  Would go there again.

Happy Eating!

  1. Wow it sounds amazing. The food looks great too!! I’m not so sure about those Bloody Marys with Beer Chasers. I don’t think I could handle that one!! Lol

  2. Love the review Jules and love Rojo!!!! 🙂 They have a few locations throughout the Twin Cities, like the one here in SLP the best.
