Phoenix, AZ “Wright’s” Lounge at the Historic Biltmore Hotel

AARON, our amazing Bartender at “Wright’s” Lounge Bar at the Historic Biltmore Hotel, July 5, 2018.  He was so kind, attentive and communicative.  He really did make our day!  We look forward to seeing him the next time we are at the Biltmore.  We like to go for a few days on a mini “Staycation” just to get a way for a few days.  IMG_0183

I like the bar snacks they serve, one is earthy and one is spicy.  Last time we were there we had the Charcuterie platter and it had the most amazing Smoked Marcona Almonds.  Good enough to go back for.

A.J. was the other bartender working that night.  We didn’t get to talk to him as much because Aaron was assigned to our side, but I was able to take this snap-shot later, after we came back from dinner.

This is in the front of the hotel where the valet takes your car.  A stunning beautiful place.  If you research it you can read all about it. Most of the rooms are newly renovated.  On our first visit here at check in, they gave us a beautiful hard cover picture book on the History of the the Hotel.  I read the whole thing.  The fine-dining restaurant there is also called “Wrights” and we went there for Valentines Day in February.  It is 5 Star.  Beautiful.

  1. These blog stories are very interesting. One could make a Bucket List from them of things to do and places to see. I am inresested to know if these hotel stays were affordable? Thanks for sharing with us!

    1. Hi Jon, the Biltmore is super spendy, however in Arizona and in the Summer they have less expensive rates. We are fortunate because we have Hotel Points through my husbands work, so often times our rooms are free or very discounted. The Biltmore is a Hilton property which is where most of our points have accumulated. I doubt we’d be staying at this hotel without them.
