One of my favorite things about living in Arizona is having our very own fruit trees that bloom and produce fruit a few times a year.
It has taken almost 3 years to get to this point but I am amazed and thrilled at the huge pieces of fruit the trees are producing, and so much too! My husband put down his amazing fertilizer this past year and the trees went gang-busters! The taste of this Ruby Red Grapefruit is amazing as it looks. Sometimes I just cut them in half and eat them with a spoon, happily letting the juice drip all over my hands and arms as I savor each bite. Other times I squeeze them and drink in that sweet, beautiful juice over a big glass of crushed ice. Either way they are scrumptious, sweet and put a smile on my face every time.
